The best story is the one nobody skips.

I started editing when I was 12, just messing around with Minecraft videos because I liked it, not because anyone was watching. Six years later I'm still doing basically the same thing, just a lot better at it — I've cut so much footage that I know almost by instinct what makes someone keep watching and what makes them click away.

That's not something you pick up in film school, it's something you pick up from years on YouTube. These days I run Awalanche Studio on my own — filming, editing, drone, 3D, all of it — and I build content the way people actually watch now, not the way it looks in a pitch deck.
